Wanted – Software Guru to Espoo, Vaasa and Malmö!

How would you like to be a Software Guru working with cutting edge Microsoft technologies? We are looking for an experienced software developer to design and implement our innovative solutions for our customers.

You will be working in a team using SCRUM to get things done. It will require cooperation skills as well as a very independent and accountable way of working. We’ll provide you with the latest tools and access to the latest technologies available. Training is applied when possible, but usually the technologies are so new, that there is no-one else in the world who knows about it, except of course you. Therefore you should be able to learn by yourself, finding your own best resources.

Formal requirements:

  • Strong analytical problem solving skills and a systematic approach to programming
  • Ability to understand customer’s/end users problem and how the software will solve the problem at hand
  • At least 3 years of work in commercial software projects, involving customer interaction
  • At least 3 years of programming experience with Microsoft technologies such as .NET, C#.
  • At least 3 years of programming experience involving databases (SQL)
  • Experience of SharePoint (2007) is an advantage
  • Good software planning skills
  • Experience with agile programming methodologies (like SCRUM) is an advantage
  • Applicable education required. Academic background is preferred.
  • Excellent social and communications skills. English: Fluent spoken and written skills are required. Swedish: Good spoken skills are required. Finnish: Good spoken skills is an advantage
  • Ability to communicate directly with the customer, also on a non-technical level
  • Accountability to stand behind your own work.
